Banana Boat

It has come to our attention that a third party is using our likeness to post job listings that may potentially be a scam. The typical job description includes being paid for “car wrap advertising” for the Banana Boat brand.

This is not a real job opportunity at Avidon Marketing Group.

We do not have employees named Charles Robinson

Charles Robinson is one of the commonly used names we have seen used in these fake job ads. We do not employ anyone by that name. There may be other names used by the scam artists.

What is Avidon Marketing Group doing?

We’ve reported this scam to the Federal Bureau of Investigation via appropriate channels.

What Should You Do?

First and foremost, do not reply to these job ads. They are fake and we do not know their intent. From the limited information available to us, we suspect this is international financial fraud intended to scam unsuspecting job seekers.

We recommend that anyone seeing these ads to report them to their job board administrator. Additionally, if you are looking for a job in digital marketing, please see our Careers page for a list of current opportunities.

As a rule of thumb, if you see a job listing elsewhere that does not appear on our Careers page, then it is not a real job opportunity at our agency.
