Digital Content Strategist
AMG is looking for creative content creators to join our team and help us take our client campaigns to the next level.

You are a self-starter who loves creating unique content in various formats. You have an inherent love for research and writing, as well as the ability to absorb a lot of knowledge quickly in order to use it in your writing.
Content is not “words” to you. You are versatile when it comes to content. You can write compelling journalistic content, ghostwrite an ebook, create a long-form How To guide on any subject, or put together the outline for a kick-ass infographic.
You are autonomous. There is little need for direction because you are highly adept at identifying content needs and opportunities for any given industry & situation.
Despite the above autonomy, you are a team player and a dynamic professional above all.
Role Description:
SEO Content Strategist is responsible for content production that supports an organic SEO campaign. The role requires strong writing skills combined with the ability to manage numerous projects that vary in scope and deliverables. Ability to remain focused in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment is important. This role serves as the end-to-end owner of the content production process. This job requires:
Experience in writing rich, compelling, and creative content including ecommerce copy, journalistic articles, and everything in between.
Lead marketing initiatives and product launches while collaborating with internal teams on development and execution of strategies that advance business objectives.
Identify + develop strong content that educates, generates demand, fosters conversation, and/or conveys value to end users.
Collaborate with the other digital PR teams to develop a campaign plan in order to grow organic traffic through amazing content.
Proactively identify new opportunities based on organic search traffic and search trends.
Lead the content production process, including but not limited to: research, discovery, outlining, writing, and proofing.
Lead regularly scheduled calls or meetings to provide status, transparent communications, and resolutions of delays or issues.
Attention to detail, extensive proofreading, and diligent editing are a must.
Ability to write with the target audience in mind and within brand voice.
Qualifications:
Excellent written & verbal skills. Creative journalistic writing is a big plus.
Experience in content marketing and digital strategy is a big plus.
Ability to study & understand any company & its products/services.
Must maintain ownership of every project, with the ability to perform well without supervision.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects based on deadlines and campaign goals.
Strong critical thinking & problem solving skills are a must-have.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal cross-functional teams as well as the clients' teams.
General knowledge of web-based project management tools like Slack, Trello, Google Business Suite.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher
3-5 years experience in marketing
2-3 years web content management experience
2-3 years writing & editing web content
Healthy team-first attitude & willingness to learn

Active public social media presence
Exceptional project management capabilities
Web-savvy with team tools such as Google Business Suite, Trello, Basecamp, etc.
Experience with PR & pitching platforms (name it in the resume if you've used it)
