Green Health Docs started as a chain of medical cannabis certification clinics in Maryland and Ohio. The company approaches AMG to help create an SEO strategy to help their individual location pages and state pages rank for relevant keywords and drive leads.
Our approach for the campaign was based on a strong local SEO effort and a long-term content marketing plan. We determined that a focus on each city and state service pages would drive the most direct value by generating relevant leads, while our patient-empowering content that educated them on marijuana certification in their state would help our effort to establish the company as an authority and help long-term organic growth.
Research & Strategy Setting
Our team began by identifying local keyword opportunities for each city, identifying local SEO needs for each city page, fixing numerous technical SEO fixes, and tying it all together with proper on-page and internal linking architecture.
The second step included heavy industry research into future informational content needs for the campaign. This is what would help us establish the company as an authority in the cannabis certification vertical. The information gathered led us to put together a comprehensive, multi-layered 12-month roadmap for growth.
